This is a hard question! There were many, many wonderful moments this past year, even though overall it's been a very stressful time.
Many of the moments I consider the happiest are simple pleasures like enjoying a beautiful view, a fine meal with friends, a lively conversation in my favorite coffee house. There have been plenty of these small moments of happiness, and I'm thankful for them every time. I savor them, savor the nourishment they give me. You never know what's ahead.
No one moment stands out for me as the best. I'm trying to savor as many small moments as I can these last few weeks of the year, and the last weeks of my time in Seattle.
